Murano 23

The amber-gold tones of Murano 23 from The McCormick Photo Gallery is brought to us by www.jjmdigital.com. See more photos and fine art at my website. The Abstract Photograph adds more light and a darker room adds to the seeming ember like glow from within the glass. I liked how the glow seems to connect with and extend from the fireplace. Our show agenda to round out the year includes Daytona, with Bonita Bay, Sanibel and Spectrum Miami running through […]

Murano 21

Moving from blues to amber and gold this week. The gold from this picture just poured out onto the wall and down to the source of the lighting. This Abstract Photograph just brightened the start of my day and pointed me straight to this wall.   We are happy to share that my artwork tour has expanded and has been accepted to the juried Coconut Grove Art Show in February 2019. This festival draws an estimated 120,000 people during the […]

Murano 15 – Gold

Happy Tuesday. Abstract Photograph Murano 15 was fractured last night. This deep gold amber color came though the glass in different shades. Adding water to the underlying tray increased the concentration of the light. The artisans ability to make Murano glass bend and color light give this glass its magic. We will be adding this to our Squares collection to let you co-create the art that lives in your world: home, office or … For November, we are now turning […]

Murano 14

Murano 14 is an imperfect fracture of a glass shard face. Blue ink in the holding dish that give us this deep color and the glass bends the light into different shades. I continue to explore the kilograms of glass and have ordered another 20+ pounds to work with and continue down this creative road. Las Olas Art Fair Show in Fort Lauderdale was great fun and we have some follow up to do. The Squares concept were very popular. […]

Murano 13

Murano 13 was composed with a piece of violet glass in the forefront and a light green piece that was backlit. This allowed the light to find its way through to the facet I was focused on. This also highlighted the fan-like fracture pattern and the round inclusion on the front face. Stop by and say hello this Saturday and Sunday at the Las Olas Art Fair Show in Fort Lauderdale. We have a great selection for you to consider […]
